In 1978, our founder established a custom home building company in San Luis Obispo with a simple philosophy: “The Difference is Quality.” As a premier General B contractor, we built custom homes for families who demanded excellence.
For over 40 years, Nexus has been fulfilling its promises to tens of thousands of homeowners. That commitment to quality, integrity, and long-term thinking is what sets Nexus apart in an industry crowded with companies that didn't exist five years ago.

This is one of the most important differences between Nexus and virtually every other solar company.
Most solar companies are sales organizations, not installation companies. When they sell you a system, they hand your project to a subcontractor. You have no idea who's showing up to your house.
Nexus is different.
Every person who touches your project is a certified Nexus employee. Background-checked, drug-tested, trained to our standards. Most of our lead installers have been with us for over a decade.
